          As a CSC Technical Specialist you will analyze business needs, translate those needs into technical requirements, and lead the effort to identify systems and processes that meet the business’ needs. You need to determine if the solution can be resolved with an existing system or take the initiative to identify an appropriate system or technology that meets those requirements at an appropriate cost. The Project Coordination and Technical Specialist will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle (discovery, selection, implementation, and support) of new solutions. In addition, you will support operations for all end users. Gather data from various sources, compile reports, disseminate and ensure that any remedial actions are taken. Support assuring that systems are in compliance with standards and metrics. Manage communication between end users, Corporate IT, and Service Providers until issues are resolved. Monitor performance and service levels between end users, corporate IT, and outsourced service providers. Create and update SOPs, Best Practices, and User Procedures. Conduct user training as required.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties as assigned.


    • Implement Technology projects at the direction of the IT Director and Project Manager.
    • Lead implementation and compliance with standards (GPRS, CIS, PCI, NIST, etc.)
    • Source new systems and technologies as directed. Support and improve existing systems.
    • Conduct system implementations, end user training, and lead system enhancements or replacement as required.
    • Manage change management across systems including Active Directory, Email, Computers, Mobile Device Management, Security Training, and other systems.
    • Document system and process changes, communicating potential impact with stakeholders before any changes are made, and verifying desired outcomes are achieved.
    • Monitor and report on system performance including servers, network, computers, and printers. Assist in monitoring, reporting, alerting, and remediation of anomalies.
    • Monitor and suggest improvements to systems and processes to optimize department performance as it relates to our end users.
    • Manage inventory control for all IT assets deployed both locally and in remote offices.
    • Promulgate Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices, Training, and user procedures.
    • Provide change management and stakeholder communications before changes are made; assure all changes are tested before they are moved into production.
    • Monitor and suggest improvements to production systems to optimize system performance including CPU, memory, disk usage, workloads, backup, archiving, and security.
    • Prepare, test, implement, and maintain Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures; perform data restore jobs from backups as needed.
    • Manage and monitor Security Controls to all systems and network connectivity.
    • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, resourceful technical skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and in stressful situations required.
    • Keep current on advances in the Information Technology field.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Director.

    Post-secondary Degree in Business or Computer Science or related field as well as professional training in Information Technology or a suitable combination of formal education and experience.


    5 Years of implementation and support of enterprise software (e.g. ERP, HRIS, ATS).

    5 Years of interviewing stakeholders, documenting business requirements, writing technical specifications, and performing software selections.

    3 Years of experience in MS SQL Server, Management Studio, writing queries.

    2 Years of Networking and System Administration in a Windows environment.

    2 Years of Project Management, writing user procedures, user training, user support.

    Familiarity with Virtualization, Security, Firewalls, Switches, and Routers.

    Familiarity with Security and Compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, PII, MDM).

    Familiarity with Mobile technologies and applications.



    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to communicate and interact with various levels of management, technical resources, vendors, managed service providers, and customers in a professional manner.
    • Developing and delivering status reports, issue escalations, and concise event debriefs.

    Comp TIA, Microsoft, ITIL


    Technical/Job Specific Knowledge:

    MS SQL Server, Management Studio, writing queries

    Microsoft Windows PC use

    Microsoft Office, Expert level with Excel formulas and VLookup

    Experience with Scheduling and follow-up

    Experience communicating with external managers and business units

    Experience with the use of enterprise applications (ERP, HRIS, ATS, etc.)


    Bonus* Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Applications, EBS)
